      In 2022, the export value of wooden doors was 773 million US dollars, an increase of 6.47% compared with 2021. The reason for the growth of exports is that global trading partners, especially major trading partners, have maintained a certain amount of purchases during the pandemic. Among the top 11 countries (regions) in terms of purchase volume, eight countries (regions) saw an increase in purchases compared to 2021, with Singapore up 248.18%, Saudi Arabia up 102.94%, the Philippines up 34.22%, Australia up 18.91%, Ireland up 12.63%, and the United States up 10.04%. Hong Kong grew 3.42 per cent and Japan 1.8 per cent. Purchases from Canada were down 14.14%, those from the UK were down 6.77% and those from Romania were down 2.84%.

     In terms of wooden doors, the output value of painted doors and non-painted doors accounted for 54.82% and 45.18%, respectively, and the output accounted for 43.04% and 56.96%, respectively. In the subcategories of no-paint doors, PVC production accounts for the highest proportion, followed by melamine /CPL, and other categories are less than 10%.

       Natural wood itself contains formaldehyde, but the content is very low. In order to make wood-based panels reach the ENF level, it is necessary to replace the traditional urea-formaldehyde resin adhesive with an aldehyde-free adhesive. At present, the adhesives that can meet the requirements of aldehyde-free are mainly MDI adhesives, biomass adhesives, aldehyde-free white adhesives, etc., but no matter what kind of products, they have their own advantages and disadvantages in physical and chemical properties and high costs, which leads to the production of wood-based panels in application there are great differences. In 2022, the production of ENF grade wood-based panels is about 12 million cubic meters, of which ENF grade particleboard accounts for the largest proportion, about 7 million cubic meters, so that some household products of the plate process are the first to achieve "no aldehyde formation".

       Although the application of ENF-grade wood-based panels in household products has not yet been fully popularized, with the continuous optimization of product research and development and the continuous improvement of process technology, its proportion in the entire wood-based panel system will become larger and larger, and its application in the entire custom home field will gradually improve.
